Founder’s Story
Diana Robinson’s personal connection to this mission is not just part of her background — it is one of her greatest assets.
As a child, Diana grew up watching her parents open their home to children in the village who needed food, safety, and care. If a child did not have a meal, they knew they could find a hot plate and a welcoming place in Diana’s family home. She remembers seeing boys and girls sitting in the living room, many of whom she barely knew. Her parents would reassure her that they would go home soon, but many stayed much longer than expected and some never left.
Years later, many of those same young men and women shared how Diana’s parents’ home protected them from violence, sexual abuse, hunger, and hopelessness. For many, that home became a safe place that gave them a chance to become something more in life.
After moving to the United States, Diana found herself continuing that same legacy. She began helping young people who had nowhere to go, offering a place to shower, eat, rest, and feel safe. What started with helping one youth soon grew into a home filled with more than 20 young people, many coming in and out daily for meals, support, and shelter. At times, Diana did not even know all of their names, but she knew they needed care, and she responded.
As Diana continued serving in this mission, she met her husband, who was also a former foster youth. Through his own experience, he shared the painful realities of aging out of foster care without stable support, guidance, or a safe place to land. His story deepened Diana’s understanding of what young people face when they are expected to figure out adulthood alone.
Today, Diana and her husband are united in their commitment to make sure youth aging out of care are not left to navigate life by themselves. Through Diana Harbor & Haven Foundation, they are building on a legacy of love, safety, and open doors — creating a true harbor and haven where young people can find stability, hope, guidance, and the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Diana Robinson is the Founder and Executive Director of Diana Harbor & Haven Foundation, where she leads initiatives that provide safe housing, stabilization services, and pathways to independence for returning citizens, youth aging out of foster care, seniors, adults with disabilities, and individuals experiencing housing instability throughout Philadelphia and Delaware County.
With a strong background in executive leadership and business strategy, Diana combines corporate expertise with a passion for community impact. She holds an MBA in Marketing and has built partnerships with government agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to
expand access to housing and supportive services.
Driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity, Diana is committed to creating lasting solutions that help individuals achieve stability, independence, and hope.

Euris Melo
Board Director
Diana Harbor & Haven Foundation
Euris Melo is an entrepreneur, mentor, and community advocate dedicated to helping others overcome adversity. Originally from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, he grew up in foster care and aged out of the system without family support. Through determination, resilience, and faith, he built a successful business and transformed his life.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Euris strengthens the Foundation’s outreach by connecting with Hispanic communities and teaching Spanish. As a Board Director, he mentors youth and aspiring entrepreneurs, encouraging financial independence, business ownership, and self-sufficiency.
His life is a testament that difficult beginnings do not define a person’s future.

Who we serve
We serve Young adults ages 17 to 24, including youth aging out of the foster care system, court-involved youth transitioning out of juvenile or adult system involvement, homeless or unstably housed young adults, and youth who lack family support or safe living environments.
